Postby Jürgen Gebhart » Thu Sep 24, 2009 3:40 pm

Here are a few shots of Podarcis muralis from a not well known Population of Rosenheim.
(I don`t know it until yesterday!!)
The lizards occur there at the station area and in the industrial area.

Cool shots - the lizards show a remarkable variability. I'm not shure but they rather look like maculiventris.

For me they also looks like maculiventris. In the next days there will be an article on www.lacerta.de
and I stay in contact with the Podarcis-pope!

Today I got the result of the genetic analysis.
It`s not maculiventris, they are not related to the natural Population that are just 30 km away in Oberaudorf.
They are merremius/brognardi !!!!
