Lacerta agilis in Holtug Chalk Quarry

If someone wants to visit Zealand in Denmark for herping, I will recommend Holtug Chalk Quarry!
Look in the water, thousands of Triturus vulgaris and a few Triturus cristatus, look at the rocks lots of Lacerta agilis really nice! You can also go hardcore, go flipping! You will soon find unlikely many of the same species. About 10 vulgaris’, 2 cristatus’ and a few agilis’ under the same rock is not a uncommon sight. You can also find Anguis fragilis, Vipera berus, Bufo bufo and Phelophylax kl. esculentus in the bride.
If you visit Zealand and wants to find these species, you should check it out!
