Hello!

This weekend I made a few excursions in the administrative district of Ludwigslust.
On the first day it was very cloudy and the day before it rained much. Because of that the reptiles were hiding under stones.
Here I found a Zootoca vivipara and an Anguis fragilis.
Both reptiles had lost there caudal any time before.

On the second day I made a trip in a heather near my home.
It was also cloudy but from time to time the sun came out.
I saw a few Zootoca vivipara, one Anguis fragilis and one Vipera berus.

Hello Ilian and Jürgen!

Thanks for your replies.
It was the first time I´ve seen this color in that area.
There are much different colors to find. Most are black and different brown colors with a dark pattern which can also be away.
But we have also copper-colored species.
