A nice collection of species, including the long-legs Hyla hominis. Any amplexus actions ? 8-)

When reading the report on your website, I see, its from the famous Austrian wall ;)
Must buy new eye-glasses immediately!

No need ;) That one left me puzzled as well as it is also lacking the big massateric scale on the side of the head. But judging by location it must be horvathi, please correct me if I'm wrong!

Two notes:
- the NE Italian Hyla is (although potential slightly introgressed) intermedia
- don't worry about not having seen berus of the "Italian clade" - those Slovenian ones (assuming they are from where we found some in 2010) belong to that clade

Thanks for the corrections - I will edit the report. Where can I read more about the Italian berus clade?

And yes, you were sorely missed on the trip! So many familiar locations and we recollected so many fun memories from 2010 :D The Eisberg was even more fun this time, I know you would have loved it!

Make that 8 months so no I was not driving! I actually slept through the entire accident only to wake up when I heard a big bang...

Dominik, first we miss each other at the Lech and now the horvathi spot... ;)

We were outside the breeding season so activity was really low...

I always thought summer wàs the breeding season :?: Must be due to the unseasonable weather this year.

I sincerely hope so.

To have it said here as well: Great little trip, great report - really makes me want to go back to Slovenia, soon! Driving past Monte Pasubio and Asiago I would not mind, either...

Yes at the Lech it was really scarce, and a big coincidence, sadly I was not sure if its really Laura so we drove away
I´ve not seen the Hyla hominis in the car --> good camouflage of this big specimen :P
