I wouldnt really say that is the case in Serbia, maybe on some localities.This is the first one we found with this kind of contrast intensity...

Well, I've just had a look at my photos - if you give up the white ("ruffoi"-like) background colour, and ljust look at the stripe, I'd say it's at least not uncommon around here (in Croatia). Here is a juvenile:

Great find!Males are much more striking that females, especially freshly shed.
Maybe, some would disagree but thats simply my subjective point of view...
