Me and a friend travelled to Parga and Corfu in april/may 2012 - We flew to Corfu, and headed directly over to main land for the first 4 days, before we returned to Corfu for the 3 last days.
That said - we took the ferry with car from Corfu to the main land - a thing I will never, ever, ever, never do again. That is the most stressfull thing I've done in a car all my life Reversing into a full ferry, the crew on the ferry has put in your mirrors, so you can't use them (would no be room for them either) and then yelling to you in greek to direct you on to the ferry... Have they never heard of ferries with opening in both ends ? bedjeezus !
Enough about greek ferries - here is some pictures form our trip - in no order whatsoever
