Well at least you saw some. I have the impression that Starred Agamas are more common in Rhodos and in Turkey then the L. trilineata.
I think they compete for the same habitat and the agama is stronger...

Hmmm... For one, stellio is a rock-dweller, trilineata is not.

Agreed: I saw trilineata on Rhodos on sandy beach habitats and in forests...

You are both right, my own (limited) experience shows the same. I think I was not long enough in areas where both live to notice it before.
