What a lifer !

I`ve been fortunate enough to be contacted by a local saying he`s got a strange snake. I`ve put together a small team and thus found a healthy romanian Sand Boa population this weekend. First live snakes since 1937! As you can imagine the location is top secret.

That's great! Although habitat loss is probably massive in Romania, I always guessed and hoped it would be rather a matter of time.
