Podarcis determination

A friend of me has taken this photo of a Podarcis at Piran Slovenia.
I am wondering if it is melisellensis or sicula?
Who can help me with this determination?

That's siculus, André. Sorry I didn't reply to your e-mail yet. Wider vertebral band, broken pale dorsolateral stripe.

By the shape of the tail base alone, that's a "yes".

And no blue tips of the ventrolateral scales, as far as I can discern from this photo...

I thought I recognised this. Here's a "family" at a more colourful time of year from the same site: male, female and juvenile (tail only visible...).

Nothing really Bero, I was just pleased(?) with myself at identifying a concrete slab the other side of the continent....
