Hello to everyone!
I want to find out if Platyceps collaris reaches Greek soil. Two years ago I went for a few days to the extreme NE of Greece, around Ormenio, Dikaia and Petrota and searched for it with a friend. We found many species but no collaris. So how many kms from the Greek borders has this species been seen? Does anyone have a record near Greece?
Thanks in advance!

I don't know about records but looking at maps in Europe its distribution doesn't go anywhere near the Greek border. It runs through the Bosphorus along the Black Sea coast. In Asiatic Turkey's mainland it seems it might get closer to some Greek islands...but still it's a long shot. What makes you think it could have reached Greece?

I think I remember a record about 20km away from Greek borders, in Bulgaria. But I can't remember who had that record and when. Maybe he is in this forum and sees my post, or there is someone else with other records near Greece.
