Lefkada II

After 2016 we made another Beach-Trip to Lefkada. After a lot of Vipers back in 2016, I suspect another great herp experience on this rare visited island. But expect the unexpected - it was hot and dry (ok this is something who is usual in Greece I think :lol: ). So I didntĀ“t find any Viper this time, but I found a few butterflies....and some more :)

I find the more interesting reptile the baby Malpolon male with reddish "chin and nose".
I once found in Italy a beautiful reddish baby Malpolon, exactly at the exit of an highway in Liguria: but it was a baby female, brighter in colours, and it was very "painted" and full of markings/ornaments... :lol:
