Hi all

Yesterday I found this adult male Triturus marmoratus in terrestrial phase. In the Guadarrama mountains, north of Madrid. One of the few places where this species ventures south of Sistema Central. It is always a pleasure to discover this beautiful species. Hope you like it.

Awesome pictures!
I just found a baby one of these last week, closer to Pamplona, and they are such a pretty species!
I really like the how tight you got those images! If you don't mind me asking, what were the specs of your lens?

Thanks Avery. The lens is a 60mm macro
