Pictures in posts, uploaded as attachments to the "fieldherping.eu" server are shown 700 pixels wide, independent of their original size!
THESE PICTURES HAVE A WHITE FRAME AROUND!
By clicking on them, they will be shown in original size!

Large pictures embedded by the (img)URL(/img) are reduced to 80% of your screen width. And can not be shown in full size.
But, if downloaded, the picture has its full size!

The picture below is an attachment, uploaded to the "fieldherping.eu" server.
All pics uploaded to this server as attachments have a white frame around.
These may be zoomed in to original size by clicking on them.

The picture below is embedded by the URL tacks.
It is allways 80% of the Forum width, independent of its original size.

In Firefox and GoogleChrome you may look to the full image size with right click on the picture.
Will not work in IE 7?!

If downloaded (in this case 1600 x 1063 px), the downloaded file has its original size.

This seems like a good way to do it. Many are familiar with my rant about the tiny size of European pictures. There's no point in taking far better pictures than the Americans (on average) if you're going to display them at 600 pixels. Not only does the picture lose all its visual impact, but you end up with a huge amount of wasted, useless screen space. Once again, good job Mario!

Now the "thumbnail"-size of pictures from attachments is 700 pixels wide.

There is a little bug in the script!

If an attached image is smaller than 700 pixels, it will not be shown in full height.
And there is a scrollbar on pictures right side.
Just click on the image and it will be shown in full height.
