Thanks a lot to all you guys! I checked my camera and the diameter is printed on both the lense and the cap! :lol: I can be so stupid sometimes!

about using filters to protect the camera....many people do this, or they use the lens hood , it is said that filters affect to photo-quality in Macros for example

A decent filter, even a simple protection filter that does basically nothing, will and should cost you like 80€.


That's not true! I found a set of three filters (UV,FLD &CPL) for 9€! It's probably not the best quality but with this price it's worth a try!

But I think you should accept that people do may not agree with you.However, I would recommend all the non-experts to consider some photography boards to backup things they read here.


Of course, I don't want to argue and I'm not trying to prove anything, so whoever wants to disagree it's their choice! I don't even care that much about becoming a pro photographer or something (an artist and a herp enthusiast is enough for me), I'm just seeing very nice photos from the members of this forum here(pros and amatures) and if I can achieve the same result following their advice, I don't need a pro photography board, where people often take themselves too seriously!
