How could a lunatic like this produce a book like that?!
And I paid it in advance, the hardcover edition at that...
Crazy me. Poor me.
(I can only hope the coworkers look like normal people,
and did their part of the job as such...)

It's a sad story. He used to be an OK guy until he became admin of a herping forum and a Croatian weirdo drove him mad.

Pre-ordered a hardback version already in March (and paid in advance I believe), but seeing prices much lower now. Is there a reason for that? I guess I'll cancel my order and place a new one for a lower price :?

I don't know where you pre-ordered it from but usually they only charge you once the book is dispatched. Maybe you should write to the seller and ask them.
