Thanks, Liam.
Ilian, yes, the boxes on that page act strange at times... Best to refresh the entire page.
Also, Ilian, can you paste or paraphrase the text on ursinii in that book? I thought I have that section as a PDF (cf.
http://testudo.bspb.org/doc/2/PETROV_He ... er2007.pdf) but I cannot find any wording that says this is a false record.
@ Mario, thanks for the checkup !
* Podarcis lusitanicus and Podarcis virescens are the alleged names for the remaining non sensu strictu morphotypes of Podarcis hispanicus, which should be implemented as soon as they become published, but I shouldn't have mentioned them
* schreiberi in Italy is of course wrong
, but kurtmuelleri is introduced to a large area in the Italian northwest.
I have no knowledge of gemonensis or scalaris in Italy. The latter has been contradicted by the Italian atlas, while the former is even not recorded from Slovenia.
* Darevskia in Albania is also my error. However, kotschyi is clearly mapped for this species by IUCN (
http://maps.iucnredlist.org/map.html?id=157281) and
http://www.seh-herpetology.org/images/a ... cyrkot.pdfThat doesn't proof it for certain, of course. If this is wrong, I would like to know!
* berus in Turkish Thrace is probably wrong too. BTW, as far as I know there is not a single record of Salamandra for Turkish Thrace !!!
* Yes, I'm sure about gemo in FYROM
- honestly, it seems indeed not to be shown on any mapping available.
Aleksandar, do you have some source for that?
* I have seen Zootoca vivipara myself in Montenegro
=>
http://www.hylawerkgroep.be/jeroen/index.php?id=45* Not sure if you have that, but Salamandra atra in Montenegro was recently confirmed by Benny Trapp, and there is a single record (introduced?) for Podarcis tauricus in Montenegro too!
* For Czech republic and Luwemburg, please see Excel file on the FTP site
