French landing !

Postby Alexandre Roux » Mon Feb 25, 2013 6:15 pm

Hi everybody,

My name is Alexandre Roux (what a revelation !), born October 2, 1992.
As of today (Febrary 25, 2013), so that makes me an age of 20 years old.

I've had the opportunity to see some of your report and photos (for some of you) with Euroherp or other websites !
I'm really proud to join the community, because of the number of great herpers whose reports made me dream so much !

For my part, I just herp anywhere I can, around my town (Lyon, France) and when I'm travelling (not easy with parents who don't like that), when I have some time...
I have a weakness for vipers (any vipers !).

Here is a picture of me with Zamenis longissimus (2011)

But that's OK if you want to herp with me, I can show you many snakes (but not a lot of species)

Bienvenue Alexandre,

I think I read some of your reports on french sites about herping close to Chazey-sur-Ain, right? This is a place I know very well, I enjoyed a lot walking in the countryside, looking for some viridiflavus. Well, if you live there, you know what I mean ;)

For sure it was my reports !
And for sure, I know what you mean because of my so many encounters with H.viridiflavus.
Some days, I can find more than 20 individuals !
