Those are some excellent and very stunning photos. I'm not so much into adders, but the pics are pretty amazing. I especially love the one with all those neat slow worms; I really have a big heart for slow worms. *g*
A couple more shots of female adders. The first is a sub-adult of about 30cm in length. The second is a large adult female of about 65cm in length with great girth. She was one of the most calm and placid snakes that I've photographed. She never hissed or showed any aggression at all. Got the shots I wanted within a couple of minutes and watched her slowly slither under cover. She was back out basking in the same spot 30 minutes later.
And a couple of mating toads that chose a shallow puddle rather than the pond nearby. They had to be helped into the pond after a couple of quick shots.
And some juvenile frogs from my garden that were disturbed whilst having a tidy up.
