Happy Days.

Postby Ray Hamilton » Wed Mar 06, 2013 10:15 am

A warmish March day in the UK.

The first sightings of Lacerta agilis are always enjoyable after a long damp Winter.
The first sighting of Vipera berus for the year is always a good day.

Happy days!

This is quite an unusual picture for a Swiss guy. In Switzerland it's almost impossible to find both species at the same place.

This is an unusual picture for me as well. Although both species overlap in the UK, it's the first time I have found them in such close proximity.

This is the only one for me so far despite plenty of searching. I think the problem here has been the strong, chilly breeze that has, more or less, been ever present. It looks as if the weather is turning pretty cool again by the end of the week. :?

Thanks Bobby.

Closer look at the L.agilis.
