So for my second post on this forum I will like to show you what you can find in the center of Corsican, especially in the mountains.
First, At Francardo, near Corte (in my property on the bank of the Golo) :
In spring (May 2014)
Hyla sarda :
Pelophylax bergeri :
Discoglossus sardus :
It's very interesting for these ones (July 2012) :
Natrix natrix corsa :
A young Hierophis viridiflavus (08.2013) :
A beautiful Pelophylax :
2 - The Niolu area, at the "Lac du Nino", is one of the best sites for corsican lizards :
A lot of Archaeolacerta bedriagae :
They are not alone :
3 - In the Tavignanu, near Corte, (07.2011) the males of Podarcis tiliguerta have a beautiful orange neck :
At last (4), Euleptes is also seen in the mountain, not only on the coast :
It's on a road at night, near Asco. The Euleptes cross the road, and you need to drive very slowly if you don't want to crush them ...
