Very nice photo! :)

In my opinion that photo is too bright but ,nevertheless, thanks. This spring I would like to take photos of newts underwater in natural tanks.

I've got almost everything out excepted some colubrids these days.
Here's a sample of what I've seen and took the time to photograph:

Fantastic shots again Alexandre, loving the bright yellow toes on the Triturus and the Eagle Owl shot

Today Laura and I went out with the amazing weather and spring was in full swing. Basking Sand Lizards and Slow Worms, mating (!) Grass Snakes and a pond full of Yellow-bellied Toads, Grass Frogs, Agile Frogs and Alpine Newts.

The first visit to a new site in greater London was a productive one - 11 adders in around an hour and a half. Even saw a nice dark male with white labials.

No sign of Zamenis as of yet, but with a few more warm days I imagine they'll start showing themselves, too.

Last week I found this heap of grass snakes; I counted one female and 8 males. I have seen mating grass snakes before but never so many together. The males appeared to have a good time, I'm less sure about the female.
