Hello,

Next spring I photographied this strange Podarcis in the french riviera, near Monaco :

It is Podarcis muralis or another species ? There is rumor of introduced Podarcis siculus near Nice, so I'm a bit suspicious with lizards now.

Looks like Podarcis liolepis. If so, it should be introduced.
Cheers

Orange eye, big temporal scale, coloured throat... Sounds like Podarcis muralis to me... but I'm in a mess with criterias...
Now that I'm looking at pictures of both species I'm having big troubles with this one...

So, just a strange Podarcis muralis ? It is likely that it's indeed this common species, but can we have more opinion ?
