Two-headed salamander larva

Postby Alexandre Roux » Fri Nov 01, 2019 3:01 pm

Hi everyone,

I want to share a very strange discovery from our group of volunteers who was leading an educationnal outing in the forest last wednesday to discover fire salamanders (close to Sainte-Foy-Lès-Lyon in Rhône department in France).
They found a two-headed salamander larva (unfortunately it was dead).

I know there are some cases from Germany and Haïfa. I don't really know if this is related to glyphosate's spreading or something like that but that surely is a strange thing to be aware of.
