Tripreport Georgia summer 2018

That summer herping in Georgia would be hot we had expected, but for the high altitude species and for one peculiar amphibian it was the best time to go. Here is the report from our trip to Georgia, we will be back in spring one day, that is for sure!

Beautiful observations, especially the vipers are stunners! That spotted whip snake has a good viper mimic going.

They are indeed fantastic. But would have prefered to see a viper that day, my mood was a bit down

Hello Bobby,

Love the Pelodytes caucasicus, not a species we often see !
Georgia seems a nice country to visit.

We were sure happy to see those, another species we missed in 2014 in Turkey due to the bad time of year...
