Hi everyone!
My name is Boris Lauš, I'm a biology student from Zagreb.
Since I can remember I've been interested in animal world, particulary in amphibians and reptiles. I was born 1982. in Šibenik, and part of my childhood I lived near "Krka" national park, an area with 9 amphibian and 22 reptile species, numerous birds, insects and fish, wolves, foxes and golden jackals ... great place for a curious boy However, over the years I've been pushed to another career direction, but at one critical point I decided that spending the whole day in the office is not my kind of life and I went back to my early dream - biology. So at the age of 25 I decided to study biology, and started to show more interest in herpetology.
And after I caught my first snake ... I simply couldn't stop, it became an addiction And one curiosity - all of my first snake species were .. females
Now I'm an active member of Croatian Herpetology Society "Hyla", Biology Students Association - "BIUS" and Croatian Mountaineering Society "Zagreb-Matica" - ecology section.
